Resolutions

Last year my resolution was to get a better result, I did that. This coming new year, it's still the same but I'm gonna expect more of myself.

On top of that, maybe to improve my personality, be a better person than last time, hopefully.

That's not too greedy right?

What is the prerequisite of being clever?

Finally, I've made something I'm kinda proud of !

It all started with the idea of giving my old car interior a better look, so this christmas I flourish my car with presents.

the useless and noisy wiper - changed 30
abnormal power window motor - changed 70
fluffy seat belt - changed 35
switches for the radio emitter plus electronics - 40

I spent the day thinking how to find the 12 volts wire source of my car, since it's an old car, the units/symbols of the wires are not there anymore to tell me what the heck is that wire for. I got no voltmeter/multimeter, my father don't have one, most my friends don't know what is that, I'm stranded.

So how did I install these 2 switches onto the car?

( the red is for the radio emitter, and the white is a secret )

I cheated.

Since the car cigarette lighter is suitable for the radio emitter, which I know needs 12volts to work. Problem solved, I got my 12 volts source from the car

What I need is some internal wiring to split the wire from the socket, and bring it out to the switches and the ultra bright LEDs.

Though it sounds easy, but I used 3 hours to finish the wiring due to the degree of freedom of my big hands in small and enclosed area in the car, like the place behind the radio, is freaking less.

But still, it is nicely done in the end !

I can even catch the ants making love at night in the car now. Happy!

Reservations

When you play, play hard, never play 60% 80%, it must always be 100%.

Same goes to studies, put your heart and soul into it.

Whats the point of doing something when you are not doing you best to make it work out perfectly?

How can there be enjoyment? when you have reservations while you play?
How can you get good results when you don't concentrate on what you are studying?

Play hard, study smart, do your best in everything, 100% effort ! in the end, many will turn out better than you expect.

Lesson on Patience

I can come out with great and creative ideas in my brain, things that is out of the box, but in the end I screwed up the whole thing, reason? lack of patience.

The latest scenario regarding this patience thingy is to make an arm rest for that old junk car(I appreciate it, thanks mom!) I have.

I had all the blue prints on my head, bought the materials and finally have the mood to do it. The material? Those plastic board they use for art or signboards in mall.


It's sturdy and hard so I guess it can stand the weight of my arm. DAMN, this thing is freaking HARD to cut with a cutter !


I spent 30 minutes cutting out a base for that arm rest, the measurement is precise, but I gave up, I don't have time to cut all the pieces precisely ! Maybe I'm lack of perseverance but I will never spend the damn day cutting that piece of plastic board.

Guess what? I changed it into a tissue box holder.

I can have great ideas, can make out something with my hand, but usually it stays inside my head unless someone needs it or I got the patience to bring it into reality.


this brings my failure to erm? 50?

Let's see, my recent failures

1. I tried to customize my desktop casing, glossy look, with 5-6 coats of paint, ended up 3 coats but still i can see my reflection with it, so, acceptable la
   
2. Convert an ATX power supply into an adapter with fan, successful after a few tries with card board, plastic board, wood, reason? I needed it.
3. laptop cooler, working but looks ugly, screwed up with the measurements and the aluminum foil for the surface.

6. ................. the list goes on

damn, sometimes I hate myself, but I just wont change.

Look Alikes

The day started normally like the past two days, all right, then I decide to get my arse back in Ipoh.

At first I never realize that my wallet is empty, so I take a detour and go withdraw plus grab my hard disk USB cable in Lowyat. I parked at Times Square and went to Times Square to withdraw.

When I was lining up, she passed by, I was like WTF? Impossible...

I look again, more like staring, as she was lining up for cash deposit machine.

WTF?! Impossible !

She really look like her! 95% same height same face same hair style. She returned the stare like I'm a freak or smtg, lol, luckily I did not call her loudly, I guess it's not her.

That freaked me out though, after I withdraw I can even forgot bout my hard disk cable. call that for a day.
